    Dallas Farmers Market, which draws 5 million visitors annually and is one of the country’s largest open-air markets
    Pioneer Plaza, the world’s largest bronze monument, featuring a larger-than-life cattle drive in a natural setting
    Trammell and Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art, the only Asian art museum in the Southwest
    Dallas Museum of Art, which boasts one of the largest collections of post-1945 art in the Southwest
    J. Erik Jonsson Central Library, which contains one of the nation’s largest genealogical collections and permanent displays of an original copy of the U.S. Declaration of Independence printed July 4, 1776
  • Over 200 special events are held Downtown each year and are attended by nearly 2 million spectators. Annual events that draw more than 20,000 visitors are:
    Neiman Marcus/Adolphus/Children’s Parade - December, attendance: 400,000
    Taste of Dallas - July, attendance: 300,000
    St. Patrick's Day Parade - March, attendance: 30,000
    Turkey Trot - November - attendance: 25,000
    Out to Lunch - May, June, Sept., Oct. - attendance - 50,000
    Downtown Round Up - september - attendance - 50,000
  • The Dallas Convention Center, which is used by 3.8 million people annually, boasts over one million square feet of exhibit space and the world’s largest (203,000 square feet) singular column-free exhibit hall. In 2005, the Dallas Convention Center hosted 7 of the area’s 13 largest conventions and half of the 8 largest trade shows.
