Public Policy
Downtown Dallas, Inc. plays a proactive role in public policy to ensure that Downtown remains on the forefront of the public sector’s agenda. Upon approval from the Board of Directors, resolutions are sent out to key City staff along with elected officials in city and state governments concerning pertinent issues that affect Downtown. Recent resolutions include: the Trinity River Parkway, News Rack Ordinance, Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, Solicitation (Panhandling) Ordinance and the UNT School of Law.
