Downtown Dallas, Inc. is particularly active in retail recruitment in the Main Street District, thanks to a contract with the City of Dallas to manage the retail development of the area. To date, the Main Street District has achieved:
- 250,000 square feet of master planned retail/restaurant use, anchored by the flagship Neiman Marcus which has been downtown for more than 100 years
- A second anchor, Urban Market, the Central Business District’s first full-service grocery store
